Tyson is a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Transportation Corps from 2002 to 2006. With his banking career starting in 2007 he has diverse experience in banking and finance. He has excelled in roles spanning sales, underwriting, collections, management, advisory, operations, usability, experience design, and Scales Agile methodologies for FinTech.
Holding an MBA and degrees in Finance and Business Administration, Tyson is deeply committed to financial literacy, drawing from personal experience to advocate against predatory lending and empower smarter financial decisions. Currently based in Phoenix Arizona, he serves as a personal banker with a focus on supporting U.S. military veterans through financial products and services.
Outside of work, Tyson enjoys learning the hand pan drum, gardening, and maintaining fitness through boxing and kickboxing.
