Hiba Salih is a seasoned public health professional with a rich background in medical practice across Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. She has made significant contributions to community health and economic development through her roles at Johns Hopkins Medicine International, Children’s National Hospital, The IRC and as a key player at Global Health Through Education, Training, and Services (GHETS) and the AAMC GHLO. Currently, she leads SDoH initiatives at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) in Charlotte, NC, focusing on empowering BIPOC and women-owned businesses and fostering economic growth.
Hiba serves on the boards of ourBRIDGE and the Collaboration for Equitable Health Engagement Council, advocating for health equity and supporting refugee and immigrant communities. She holds a BMBS from Juba University and an MPH from the University of Medical Sciences and Technologies. Her work reflects a deep commitment to improving health, education, and economic conditions, both locally and globally.
